I was born in a small rural village called Bahn Mai(translates to "new house")which sits along the River Ping. Bahn Mai is a farming community that is about 4 hours north of Bangkok. When I was about 5 yrs old my mother remarried, this time it was to an American GI. We moved around Asia and North America quite abit but always considered Thailand to be my home. I had the opportunity to experience different cultures, meeting new people and tasting a variety of exotic foods and flavors. My passion and love of the culture, the people, and the food gave me inspiration to open up Bahn Mai. Dear friends, with much love, blood, and sweat, Judy and I bring you a taste of Thailand.
